Homologated exhausts comply with road regulations: they include a non-removable dB killer and provide sporty sound and performance suitable for everyday use and road travelling.
Racing exhausts are designed for track use: they feature a removable dB killer, deliver a more aggressive sound and offer greater performance gains. However, they are not approved for road use.

Homologated / Racing
The Zard "Sabbia" slip-on for the Yamaha Ténéré 700 represents the perfect combination of design inspired by African rally-raid racing and cutting-edge technology.
Sabbia is the Zard collection dedicated to the Yamaha Ténéré 700, Ducati DesertX and Aprilia Tuareg 660, inspired by the world of African rally raids and defined by a modern and innovative design.
The exhaust system is handmade in Italy using AISI 304 stainless steel, with a carbon fiber heat shield. It is available in racing or Euro 5 homologated versions. Weight is reduced from 7 kg (15.4 lbs) of the stock exhaust to 2.8 kg (6.2 lbs) for the racing version and 3.2 kg (7.1 lbs) for the homologated version. Power increase is +1.8 HP and +1.1 HP for the respective versions.
The exclusive design of the Sabbia, featuring the red line and Zard logo printed with heat-resistant screen printing, is the result of close collaboration between the Zard Style Center and the Zard R&D Team, inspired by the great African rally raids.
This silencer can also be paired with the Zard headers to ensure a more significant performance improvement.

Le saldature TIG - MIG/MAG sono realizzate a mano da operatori specializzati e il trattamento ceramico nero utilizzato per la verniciatura degli scarichi resiste fino ad una temperatura di oltre 1000°C. Testiamo personalmente ogni impianto su strada e banco prova e ogni passaggio produttivo viene eseguito con la massima cura, attenzione e soprattutto, un’autentica passione.

I prodotti disponibili in versione omologata sono contraddistinti dalla voce ‘omologato’ selezionabile nella lista degli optional. La rimozione del DB killer negli scarichi omologati comporta la decadenza dell’omologazione e della garanzia. Il Ministero Dei Trasporti ha ufficialmente autorizzato le Officine Italiane Zard alla produzione di scarichi moto con omologazione valida su tutto il Territorio dell'Unione Europea. Gli scarichi Zard sono progettati e realizzati rispettando elevati standard di qualità e, per i modelli omologati, garantiscono il rispetto delle direttive europee riguardanti l'approvazione dei sistemi di scarico (Direttiva 97/24/CE, Regolamento UE 134/2014). Su ogni sistema di scarico omologato Zard è stampigliato il numero di omologazione riportato sul relativo certificato che viene fornito in dotazione e va presentato alle Forze dell'ordine in caso di controllo. Lo scarico omologato è equiparato a quello originale e come tale non deve essere sostituito nel caso di revisione della moto.Quick Compare
