Our heritage comes from decades of Italian engineering experience, combining industrial precision with handcrafted quality. Since 2005, Zard has been a reference brand for high-performance motorcycle exhausts Made in Italy.
OUR HERITAGE
THE STORY OF ZARD HAS DEEP FAMILY ROOTS DATING BACK TO THE 1970S, WHEN GIUSEPPE QUAGLIA WORKED WITH PASSION AND PRECISION FOR FIAT AUTO IN A SMALL WORKSHOP IN TURIN.
From this legacy of skill and ingenuity, his son Aldo Gherlone went on to found G.P. Tecnica, now a trusted partner of the most prestigious brands in the luxury automotive sector.

Our products come to life from the manual skills of our skilled craftsmen, which is why it can take up to three months from the moment of the order to the delivery
DESIGN CENTER
Every project begins with a sketch, an idea that takes shape on paper and evolves through exchange and refinement. At our in-house Design Center, led by Giuseppe Armano, formerly of Alfa Romeo’s Style Center, form and function are seamlessly integrated. Every curve has purpose. Every detail has a sound. A Zard exhaust is never just an accessory: it is a defining element that enhances a motorcycle’s lines, elevates its character, and makes it truly unique.
RESEARCH & PROTOTYPING
Our R&D department works closely with the Design Center, the technical office, and our highly skilled specialists. From 3D scanning and reverse engineering to the development of the first prototype, every step is followed with precision and care. Acoustic performance, flow dynamics, resistance, everything is tested, refined, and improved. Our test bench is the first and most rigorous judge.
CERTIFICATION AND QUALITY
Each Zard exhaust is born with two identities:
Racing: for those who demand maximum performance
Homologated: for riders who seek the same standards while remaining road legal. All our homologated systems are TÜV certified, a globally recognized mark of safety and quality. From design through to final inspection, every phase is meticulously monitored, documented, and traceable.

MADE IN ITALY PRODUCTION
Everything is produced in-house at our headquarters in Baldichieri d’Asti, using exclusively Italian-sourced materials. From raw stainless steel to titanium, each exhaust takes shape through laser cutting, bending and rolling, all performed with the latest-generation equipment. Even with proprietary robotic welding lines, manual welding remains a deliberate choice: a skilled hand gives each piece an unmistakable aesthetic, a distinct signature, a soul. The entire production cycle is transparent and uncompromising.
